Handed over and new admissions

Date 12th Aug, 2010

Prabh Aasra's Mission Milaap has been able to hand over a child who was merely 10 years old to his parents. He was admitted here by SHO of Kharar police station. According to his parents the child was missing since last one month. Society members located his residence via internet with the little information collected from the child. His poor father is working as a laborer in Mumbai. His parents thanked the Society members to keep their child with homely care.

Free Distribution of Tree Saplings and awareness activities through electronic media

Date: 9th Aug, 2010

The Soceity has distributed the tree saplings and fruit bearing plants in different schools and water works of nearby villages of District Ropar and S.A.S. Nagar Mohali. Because of excess cutting of trees and pollution the imbalance of environment is increasing day by day. The signs of earth's displeasure with inappropriate and harmful activities of humans are now seen and felt all across the globe like the global warming, climate changes, acid rain, drought, flash floods and other forms of natural catastrophes.

On 19.07.10, the Society handed over the new born girl child to Ms. Anshu Thakur, Superintendent, Children Home, Rupnagar in presence of Ms. Amrit Bala, D.S.S.O. Rupnagar & Ms. Krishna Devi, Supervisor Children Home, Rupnagar.

Jayanti hand over

Another case mentally ill inhabitant Jayanti (25) was handed over to her husband Hari Singh from Lalitpur (U.P.).

New Born Received in Cradle

Date: 29th June, 2010

On 28.06.10 night a newly born unwanted girl infant was put in the Cradle of the Society by some unknown person. The cradle at Main Gate of the Society was checked by the security guard at 9.30 p.m. after hearing cry of the child. Next morning the baby was brought to the Kurali Hospital for check up where she was found normal. After checkup the information was given to the local police station about the baby.

New Admission

Date 10th June, 2010

On 8/6/10 Sub Inspector Purshotam Chand of Kharar police station brought a 9 year old child in highly miserable condition to the Society for admission. He found the child standing aimlessly at Kharar bus stand in half nakedly condition. The child wearing a worn out muddy shirt only was unable to speak anything.

The fearsome mentally retarded and very feeble child was given name Gulshan by the Society. He has been admitted for care and rehabilitation.

New Admissions

Date 5th June, 2010 

In recent Past following unclaimed People have been admitted in the society:

Sunder Lal (26)The mentally ill man was found roaming aimlessly in Kurali. He was observed in severely fouls smelling clothes collecting eatables from garbage piles by a Society Sewadar. After getting information from him the society brought him and admitted for care and rehabilitation.

New Admissions

Allah Rakhi (45): The lady was found wandering around the Society’s center at Padiala. The mentally ill lady found in torn out clothes was unable to tell her where about.

Garendra Singh (16): The young man was found in miserable conditions at village Lalti kalan of Ludhiana to the Sarpanch of the same village. The mentally ill is unable to tell his where about clearly.

New Branch Inauguration

4th April, 2010

The Society has inaugurated its new branch at Jhanjeri. The function initiated with the holy Paath of Sri Sukhmani Sahib. Various Kirtani Jathas performed kirtan for the gathering. The jathas included Dr. Jagir Singh and jatha of kids also.

Further Success under Mission Milaap

Date: 20th Mar, 2010

Mission Milaap got another success by finding the family of Suman who was missing for last 2 months.

Pregnant Suman was brought to the Society by S. Shamsher Singh himself from Ghanauli village of Ropar district on 03.02.10, who was wandering in miserable conditions in the village. The mentally disturbed Suman was under care and treatment since then.

Medical Camp for Disability Certificates

Date: 16th Mar, 2010

Team of Doctors, under directions of Civil Surgeon Mohali Dr. P.K. Sridhar hold a medical camp at Society to make disability certificates for inhabitants.

Medical team included Dr. Harmet Kaur (Psychiatrist), Dr. Sumit Kalra (Eye specialist), Dr. Raminder singh (Ortho specialist), Dr. Preet Mohan Singh(ENT specialist), Sh. Rajinder Singh (Eye officer), Smt. Prabhjot Kaur (Pharmascist) and Sh. Harinder Singh.

Handover Cases - Mission Milap

Date: 13th Mar, 2010

Mission Milap has succeeded to reunite the missing destitute with their families through internet.

Bani from West Bengal being handed over to her brother. She was missing for last 3 years.

Jamna from Udaypur was missing for last 6 years being handed over to her Brother & sister in law. She has a daughter aged 17 years.

Date: 2nd March, 2010 

Recently the Society has handed over the following inhabitant to their families.

Jaspal Kaur(55):- The mentally ill old lady was handed over to her brother of village badanpur on 28-02-2010. She was brought to the Society by the village of Nathal pur under miserable mental condition on 9-02-2010.
