The Society has inaugurated its new branch at Jhanjeri. The function initiated with the holy Paath of Sri Sukhmani Sahib. Various Kirtani Jathas performed kirtan for the gathering. The jathas included Dr. Jagir Singh and jatha of kids also.
The profound visitors addressed the gathering which included Prof. MS Bedi-President Guru Nanak Charitable Trust, S. Hardeep Singh Mohali – member SGPC, Sh. Shamsher Purkhawali – Dalit Chetna Manch, S. GS Kohli – Ropar, Dr. Pavittar Singh – Jalandhar, S. Harbant Singh Bajwa – Navan Graon, S. Sahib Singh Badali, S. Bhajan Singh Shergill – Member SGPC, Dr. Jagir Singh, S. Sardara Singh and honorable people from Chandigarh, Mohali, Kurali & Ropar.
After all of them S. Shamsher Singh – Mukh Sewadar of Society addressed the gathering and gave information about new branch. He said the new branch is established to segregate the male and female inhabitants and to segregate the patients with contagious diseases. The older branch at Padiala will be reserved for female inhabitants. The new branch is having facility to accommodate 70 inhabitants. He also thanks the humane people who are associated with the Society.
The visitors were served with Langar.
The Society also hold an exhibition about its working and distributed literature for social awareness.
